Obviously, years have passed since then, and there was still no release date given today. Neostream originally pitched Little Devil Inside as a Kickstarter project, successfully bringing in over $230,000 to fund the game, including a stretch goal to release on Wii U.
Little Devil Inside was the indie standout from last year's PlayStation Future of Games' stream, but its history goes back quite a bit further. In the new footage, we were treated with a view of what it's like to set out on one of these journeys, complete with a narrated train ride and traveling around the world map. Though, the critters and beasts of Little Devil Inside are more extraordinary than those in the real world, many of which are supernatural. Set in a somewhat Victorian world, you'll set off into the wilderness on research assignments at the behest of a university professor. It takes something really special to make a steampunk world stand out with no humans whatsoever, and Machinarium manages to do exactly that while gripping players in a unique adventure that is entertaining from start to end.Today's PlayStation State of Play showcase ended with Neostream Interactive's quirky action-adventure game Little Devil Inside. What really sells Machinarium is its expressive design and animation, making everything come to life in the best way possible. While this game may be one-of-a-kind, there are still many other games that are like Little Nightmares 2 in many ways and worth checking out for fans of this amazing title. It expands on the lore of the series, sporting a great twist that will take many players by surprise. Though in many ways the game is unique, that's not to say that there aren't other games like Little Nightmares 2 that fans of the title will surely enjoy. With the game having now been out for a while, however, many gamers have already beaten it and now find themselves looking for something similar to play. Continuing the story of the first game, Six teams up with Mono, the playable character in this installment, as the pair make their way through the Pale City to get to the Signal Tower.
