The third game in the puzzle-filled adventure series features the most far-fetched story yet but the puzzles are as addictive and rewarding as ever. Professor Layton and the Lost Future (DS) 9.1 Professor Layton and the Curious Village (DS) 9.0Ĩ2. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo (GBA) 9.0Ĩ6. Zack and Wiki – Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure (Wii) 9.0Ĩ9. It also boasts the hardest last boss of any game I’ve ever played.ĩ2. It’s famously tough too, the game demanding you rescue every single bear-like tribal to complete it meaning you have to scour every level meticulously. You play as Juno, Vela and Lupus as they take on hordes of bug-like enemies in a number of colourful and imaginaitve alien worlds, think Starship Troopers meets Bucky O’Hare.
It’s not a bad game either coming in the middle of Rare’s golden age in the late 90s. This third-person shooter from British developer Rare may well have the coolest title of any game ever. The games are listed with their platform and the review score out of 10.0 I would give each one. Some existing games may also have moved around a bit. At roughly this time next year the list will return updated to include the best games to be released in the intervening time. There are far too many games to comment on every one so I’ve picked out ten at random to focus on. This is, of course, a personal list and can only be made up of games I actually own so if there are any glaring omissions it’s because I haven’t played them.
